How can infrastructure projects be successfully implemented to achieve a climate-neutral future? Taking the Koralm Tunnel – one of Austria’s most prominent rail projects – as an example, we discuss with project manager Klaus Schneider the issue of public acceptance, current developments in rail transport, and what it takes to remain resilient and enthusiastic about the project over a period of 28 years.
